INTRODUCTION

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025 is the single largest medical entrance examination in India conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate medical courses across the country. As per the latest guidelines from the National Medical Commission (NMC), NEET-UG remains the sole gateway for admissions to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical programs in all government and private medical colleges in India.

NEET-UG 2025 will be conducted as a pen-and-paper based test in multiple languages across various examination centers nationwide. The exam pattern remains consistent with previous years, testing candidates' knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). With increasing competition each year (over 24 lakh applicants in 2024), NEET-UG continues to be the most crucial examination for aspiring medical professionals in India.

The Ministry of Education has introduced several student-friendly measures for NEET-2025 including extended application windows, more examination centers, and improved grievance redressal mechanisms. NEET 2025 Answer Key

Various coaching institutions has released the answer key on the same examination day. Candidates will be able to view their NEET 2025 Response Sheet & answer key through online mode. NEET answer key 2025 will be released in the month of May 2025. Answer key will be published in two parts, i.e. Provisional & Final Key.

In case of any doubt in the provisional answer key, candidates can submit their challenges through the website. Candidates will have to pay Rs.200/- for each question. A panel of subject experts will review the challenges and publish the final answer key. The objection window will be opened in May 2025.

NEET 2025 Result

NEET Result 2025 or Score Card will be displayed on the website of NEET. It will be available through online mode only. NEET 2025 Score Card will be issued on 14th June 2025. There will be no provision for rechecking or re-evaluation of the answer sheets.Candidates will have to enter their login details to check the result. The result will be valid for admission for the current year session. Candidates should keep the result or scorecard for further admission usage.

NEET 2025 Merit List

NTA will release the NEET UG Merit List 2025 on the basis of marks scored in the entrance exam. Merit List will be released through online mode along with results.

In case of any tie between two or more candidates, the inter-se-merit criteria will be applied for determination of rank. From the year 2024, candidate's age has been removed from the criteria. The inter-se-merit criteria will be as follows:

  1. Candidate obtaining higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the Test, followed by,
  2. Candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry in the Test, followed by,
  3. Candidate obtaining higher marks in Physics in the Test, followed by,
  4. Draw lots by using the computer or IT with no human intervention.

NEET 2025 Cut-off

The cut-off will be announced after the declaration of result. NEET cut off 2025 will be available in the month of June 2025. Students who will score the marks under the released cutoff will be eligible for admission.
