For Class VII (D Form): Age must be between 11 and 12 years as of September of the exam year.
For Class VIII (C Form): Age must be between 12 and 13 years. Boys can attempt the test again if not selected in Class VII.

Boys are admitted only in Class VII and VIII. The school looks for academic ability, extracurricular strengths, and leadership potential. The exam is held in October each year.
