INTRODUCTION
Jammu and Kashmir Sainik School, Manasbal is an English Medium
residential School for Boys providing public school education of a high
standard.
The School is run by J&K Sainik School Society and is affiliated to the
Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi for all India Secondary
and Senior School Certificate Examinations.
The Foundation Stone of the School was laid on October 29th, 1980 by Late
Jenab Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, The School started functioning from
September 14th, 1981.
Aim:
The aim of the school is to prepare boys academically and physically for
entry into the National Defence Academy and others walks of life. A sound
character, team spirit, dedication to purpose, a patriotic outlook and the
desire to serve the country with efficiency are the qualities sought to be
promoted.
Motto:
The motto of the school is "Through Toil to the Stars"

Admission to class XI session (2023-24) Lateral Entry
Online applications are invited from the eligible students (Boys only) of
Kashmir Division & Ladakh UT for admission in Class XI session 2023-24 against
available seats in the School. Application forms are available online on School
website (www.jksainikschool.in). Students fulfilling eligibility criteria can apply for
the J&K Sainik School Entrance Examination admission test - 2023 (JKSSEE) class
XI.

Fee
Candidates will have to submit the application form and fee of Rs. 550/-
(Rupees five hundred fifty only) online before the last date. Candidates are advised
to read the prospectus carefully and go through the instructions regarding filling up
of online application form available on School website. Candidates must ensure email address
and mobile number provided in the online application form of their
own or that of their parents, as all information / communication will be sent by the
School through email on the given e-mail address or SMS on given mobile number.
