INTRODUCTION

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GOI) has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2025] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday, which is Pen and Paper based in 13 languages, as a uniform entrance examination for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental /AYUSH and other Colleges/ Deemed Universities /Institutes (AIIMS & JIPMER) in India, as per Section 14 of The National Medical Commission (NMC) Act, 2019 and relevant Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997, as amended from time to time. The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2022 would be conducted are : English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Minimum Age:- 17 by December 31, 2025. No upper age limit
  2. Education Qualification:- Pass or appear for class 12 or equivalent examination. Core Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, English. Open School and students with additional subjects are eligible.
  3. Minimum Marks Requirement:- 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 exams
  4. Minimum Aggregate:-40% for OBC/SC/ST categories. 45% for PWD (General) Candidates.

NEET 2025 Application form procedure

  2. Click on the NEET 2025 registration tab under the Latest News Section
  3. Read instructions carefully and click on the agreement checkbox.
  4. Enter mandatory details and generate a password.
  5. Verify details using OTP received on mobile and email.
  6. Login with NEET 2025 registrations credentials.
  7. Fill in Personal, Educational, Question paper medium, exam city preference and upload documents.
  8. Pay the application fees online using Credit/Debit card , Netbanking and UPI
